New General Intl Maxi Lathe Variable Speed *LINK*

Mike Brazeau
>Just got my new issue of Canadian Woodworking and there is an ad for a new General Maxi VS. Looks pretty good, not perfect but better than anything out there in this class of small lathe. Swiveling headstock and outboard tool rest. They have a couple of bed extensions now too, taking it up to 45" for spindle work. Digital readout for those who need to know exactly how fast they are turning. Lowest speed is still a bit high at 400. Web site says available end of June. Will be interesting to see the pricing on it. No connection with General, just passing along.
