Subject:
6 to 10 weeks for a lathe

Stuart Johnson
>Why does it take 6 to 10 weeks to receive a OneWay lathe? Do they wait until an order is received prior to starting to build it? I understand quality versus mass production but this time lag seems to build in an elite status (high dollars). Almost a "my lathe is the best because it took me 8 weeks to receive it" mentality.

I'm not knocking OneWay or touting one lathe over another just wondering if the short supply doesn't account for some of the increased price.
