Turning Archive 2006
>Intended to post this a long time ago when I was asked how I reversed chucked hollow forms, but never got around to it. When I was first starting hollow forms I often had problems with them spinning as I tried to finish off the bottom after reverse chucking them. This is my method now and I never have a problem. The material is the rubber drawer liner/router mat stuff. I got an 8' roll of it at Sears I think. Just cut an appropriately sized square, cut a small X in the center and slip it over the cone. Guaranteed to eliminate slippage.
