Subject:
semented work

>I'm so psyched right now. I spent some serious time tuning my table saw and rebuilding my sliding miter jig. Before I could never consistently cut 8 segment rings. I did all my segmented work by gluing up my segments in 180 degree sections so I could true up each half before glueing the rings. It worked well, I did a lot of segmented pieces but it was painfully slow.

I have just cut 4- 36segment rings and glued them up all in one glue up with no gaps at all. I've never been able to do that before. Hopefully you'll see the results of my segmented work in the near future. I'm working on an inside out platter with segmented ring. That's what got me started on the 36 segment rings.
