Poor man's/woman's texturing tool *PIC*

>There was mention in a thread here a few days ago about using a machinist's knurling wheel for texturing. I had on hand a pair of knurl wheels I purchased years ago, intending to use them for their original purpose--that is, making a knurled pattern on metal handles and knobs. They sat in a drawer unused, until I decided to try them on wood.
I mounted one of the wheels on a piece of 1/2" square keystock, drilled and tapped for a 1/4" axle bolt as shown here:
