Grizzly 1019 BS

>Hi,

Recently, while cutting out bowl blanks, on my older Griz 1019 bandsaw, I smelled burning rubber. Upon closer inspection, I discovered the tire on the top wheel had slid partially off the wheel, and was rubbing the inside of the saw. Each time I put it back onto the wheel, same thing again.

Anybody else with this saw, or any knowledge of BandSaw's in general, have a suggestion for a solution? I don't think these tires were ever glued on the wheel. Maybe they have stretched over time?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,
W.C.
