>A question for those not on the road to Georgia.....
I have a simple, small ash bowl. It is off the lathe and completed, except the finish. It is sanded to 600 grit. I've only completed a couple bowls to date. This is the first non-cherry one. I have no spray equipment and generally prefer wipe on finishes for my flat work. I've tried shellac on my prior bowls and haven't been pleased.
Any thoughts on what I ought to try on this bowl that might fill pores and not add tons of yellow?
Thanks in advance,
