>I'm just finishing a little cherry bowl. It has aboout a dozen worm holes. Well, not really holes. Looks like the worm went through the wood and left behind the residue of the wood. The stuff looks like sanding dust but is fairly hard, though not as hard as the surrounding wood.
I'd like to get it out of the holes but working on it with a dental pick doesn't do very much towards cleaning it out. I've tried to disolve it with alcohol and paint thinner with no results.
Anyone have a method of cleaning out these holes while still retaining my sanity?
