Subject:
Boiling Madrone Bowls

Rick Davenport
>I got a bunch of madrone on Sunday.
And with it some advice to
1 - turn green and thin and let nature take its course
2 - turn green then boil
3 - turn green then microwave
4 - turn green and thick then seal and cross your fingers

I'll probably try a little of all 4

1 and 4 are self explanatory and I have book info on microwave drying.
As far as boiling ..... how hot, how long and what do you do afterwards?

I tried the search function on this site, but obviously didn't do it right as I'm sure this has been discussed ad nauseum.
Could somebody help me out?

Thanks,

Rick
