Subject:
From board to bowl

Roy Fek
>Hello everyone,

I've asked this question on another forum and thought I would ask all the very knowledgeable people here:

Anybody have any info on how to take a board, mount it on the lathe,
cut rings, glue up rings and turn it into a bowl?

Is it just as easy as cutting the rings with a parting tool? Is the
angle of the cut critical?
And, are there any tips/tricks for gluing all the rings together at
once, some kind of clamp or press?

I know about the "RingMaster tool/lathe add on", but I'm hoping to do this without it.

If there are any online tutorials, it would be much appreciated!!!

Thanks in advance,
Roy Fek
