Subject:
Molly's BLM *PIC*

Carole Valentine
>Molly sent me a 1 1/2" x 8" disk of BLM and I have been staring at it ever since trying to figure out the best way to mount and turn it. There was a bark inclusion that ran across one face and fairly deep. Finally, yesterday I said to myself "Mount it anyway you can and just turn it!" I used a facelate with about 2/3 of it in contact with the wood. Held fine. I had never turned anything other than a mini from BLM so the hollowing across all those little pointy things (most of which got cut away) was new experience for me. Anyway here's the little shallow plate I ended up with. Thanks Molly!
