Subject:
carter bearings for bandsaw

Ed Karch
>Back when I thought the world was flat I installed carter blade guides on my old jet 14" with riser block for cutting veneer. One of the bearings lost it's shield and seized up. I miked it for size and looked it up to find that a metric 8id 22od 7wide is the common size for inline skates. A trip to the sporting goods store and I now have all new bearings with steel shields instead of rubber shields. There are 10 bearings in all on the carters. A package of replacements for your sKates is 16 bearings leaving six to make vacuum chuck rotaters.

Keep em rolling
