Subject:
Silent Air Compressor

Larry Mart
>We are in need of a very quiet, almost silent air compressor to power a "Powercrafter" carver. These are glorified dental drill tools that rotate at 400,000 rpm. The requirements of the Powercrafter are 1.5 cfm at 40 psi. The important thing here is "quiet".

We've looked at airbrush compressors but they are too small. We also attended a demo by Gene & Peggy Kircus where they used such a compressor, but attempts to locate them have failed.

Does anyone have any experience with such a compressor?

Thanks, Larry
