>It is well-known that Rude Osolnik popularized his walnut candlesticks and they are identified with him. I am considering making some candlesticks in the style in the picture below, and they may have some visibility. They are similar in shape to Rude's, but they are laminated so that they have the contrasting hyperbolic cross-section as shown. I do not believe Rude ever made them in this laminated form, but I could be wrong. These candlesticks are ash with wenge and sometimes I use ash with bubinga.

QUESTION: If one were to make candlesticks as are pictured below, is there a problem with plagiarism?
