Small Spalted Poplar Bowl *PIC*

Chris DiCiaccio
>This is my 5th try at a bowl. Though it is only 3 1/4' x 1 7/8", I learned more on this bowl than on all previous bowls. Somehow I found a niche with my bowl gouge and it started cutting like it should. What a difference! I think I understand a little more about bevel rubbing now. Once this happened, I started enjoying it much more and it didn't take near as long. Also, I finally got a more thin wall than before. Looking forward to trying what I learned on a bigger bowl. Anyway, still trying to learn, mostly from trial and error and a couple of books.
