Oil finish question

>I'm turning a bowl out of a piece of cherry that I got from a supplier in Canada. It's nice wood but it's a little lighter in color than I'm accustomed to seeing in our domestic cherry, and I'm pretty sure the customer would prefer it a little darker. Which will happen with age, I know, but I'm wondering if there's a particular brand of finish that darkens the wood on application MORE than other brands. I usually use Minwax Wipe-On Poly - any suggestions for something that will make this thing a little darker? Thanks,
