Subject:
Style or a rut? *PIC*

Carole Valentine
>I was told by someone the other day that I was developing a "style" and that she was beginning to be able to spot my work from a thumbnail. Today when I was getting ready to photograph these two little minis, I was struck by their similarity of form to each other and to a lot of the others in my cabinet. That got me thinking (I know - that's dangerous!) Do we develop a style or do we just settle into a comfort zone (rut?) with the things we turn? To me, a style is something unique, therefore I think I am probably in a rut and need to start exploring different forms! Do any of you ever think about this?
