Subject:
a little practice goblet *PIC*

Keith Tompkins
>I like to practice before I turn something, just to warm up. This is a practice piece made from a scrap piece of holly, 2.5" tall. The bowl was pretty thin, so I set a light above it to show the translucency. I used my newest home-made tool for the captured ring. Again, camera acting up, best I can do for now.

These practice pieces let me play around with different shapes and proportions.
