Subject:
LV "Viking" Bandsaw blades

Carole Valentine
>I am on my second one of these blades. The first broke at the weld almost immediately and LV promptly replaced it. In the meantime I had put another brand of blade on and just last week put the replacement Viking on. The blade cuts fast, clean and absolutely straight (3/8" x 3 tpi). It whipped through sopping wet 6" thick black gum and holly like butter. But I am confused...LV identifies the blade as "previously identified as Timber Wolf brand". Is it made by Suffolk Machinery or not? The Suffolk folks say no. Is it made by Viking Saw? Aother site calls them "Viking/Timber Wolf". Certainly not a life or death question...I am just curious.
