Subject:
Something is bugging me............

Rick Davenport
>On my first visit to the Seattle chapter of the AAW, I won the raffle and got to bring home a big (24x30x12), beautiful cherry burl.
It was harvested a month or two ago and the cut side was anchorsealed.
It's sitting in my shop waiting for a bigger lathe (which landed is Seattle today!).
I just looked at it this morning and there are 5 or 6 little piles of bark dust on the shelf under the burl.
Somebody is eating my burl!!!!
So what do I do?
Get some surplus agent orange and soak it?
Let the buggers munch?

Your advice please and thank you.

Rick
