>I go between centers, make design, true up, turn foot, reverse on chuck, true up, turn inside. Bowl is sealed on outside before I reverse and pits/cracks sealed with super glue. After inside is turned, they are put on button jaws with tailstock brought up. I will tape around the edges if I think they might fly off. The bottom is brought down to the waste point and then is taken off with a carving chisel. I will use a 1 hook & loop disc to sand bottoms. Sanding inside and out is done with an inertia sander, I have both a 3 and 2. Finish is Deft Clear Wood Lacquer, then Tung Oil type finish of choice. Size ranges from 8-6 wide to 3-6 high all approx. thick. GT
