A "Tipless" Pen *PIC*

>Jim has been showing us his "Clipless" pens, so I wanted to show one with something missing on the other end. This is a "tipless" pen.

There is really a metal Slim-Line tip buried inside on the end of the brass tube. This makes the tip as strong as a normal pen and eliminates the wear and breakage that was a problem when the end of the ink cartridge was just sticking out of a drilled hole in the wood.

The top pen is Eastern Cedar that was hardened with a lot of very thin CA glue. The one under it is Golden Desert Ironwood from Bill Baumbeck at AZ Silhouette.
