Interesting wood

George Fitzpatrick - Springfield MA
>Not sure what I was turning tonight. The shavings were fairly bright orange! No noticable aroma. Fairly strong grain, with a number or very small worm holes. Wood was still wet, some of the wettest I've yet turned. That, and having just sharpened my gouges, made for some really fun turning. Totally enjoyable. Just roughed out a couple bowl blanks. This was way more fun than trying to turn oak. Not that I'm giving up on that, but this was just fun!
