Turning Archive 2006
>Just an update regarding the heat in my shop. I did end up buying the Dyna-Glo convection heater that was on sale at Lowes and I've spent two of the most comfortable winter days in the shop than I have in a long time. It's quiet, and really gives off a nice soft heat. I just love it. I can't believe it took me this long to get one. No stinky smell....except right when I shut it down....and no Jet engine noise blasting away. I use to have to turn the torpedo heater off when I'd be turning something thin or when I really needed to hear what was happening at the lathe.
Thanks for all of the tips and help that I got in making this decision.
