Green Bowl Blanks

>I just returned from harvesting recently-felled green Big Leaf maple and Madrone. Split and cut the logs into usable round blanks, removed pith and sealed with Anchorseal. Nothing bigger than 10 inches in diameter and about 4-6 inches thick max. About how long do I have to rough turn bowl blanks before I start having to worry about cracking here in the very damp and cool Pacific Northwest? I seem to collect wood faster than I can turn it.
