Subject:
My 'nucci Hollower Broke *PIC*

Jerry McCaffrey
>My small hollowing tool, designed and fabricated by noted Wood Central toolmaker, Steve Antonucci broke today. I wad doing a small osage orange hollowform at a NJ Woodturners demo today. While undercutting the rim the tool snapped like a stale breadstick. Fortunately I was able to finish the piece with a Bob Rosand hollowing tool and the bowl gouge used was from Doug Thompson. Certainly Bob and Doug would warranty their fine products. So after giving workshops and demo's to his club, does Steve stand by his design? His response here will tell whether Steve can make it in this competitive tool making market :)
