Subject:
router carving feet *PIC*

>I'm building a Gavel for our club president. He needs it to keep us inline. I thought the striker block needed feet to create more sound. I decided to use my banjo mounted router table to carve the feet. I used the index wheel to mark off the feet. Then I put clamps on the index wheel to use as stops. I set the edged of the table up to control the depth of cut on 2 directions, forward and to the left. Then I just pushed the router in to take a shallow cut and rotated the index wheel. Push the router in further and make another one. Keep going until I have the full depth. It was really easy and clean enough to require only light sanding.
