>.....get into the "studio" and try out the Hunter tool I brought home from the AAW Symposium. Soft stringy wood like this spalted Scotch pine is a bear to cut smoooothly on the inside, and the Hunter bent tool worked like a champ! Walls are 1/8" and 6"H, and the cuts were nice slices rather than the ragged clumps I usually get from a gouge or scraper.
