Legs for Jet Mini Lathe Stand *PIC*

>I recently bought one of these stands. I wasn't very impressed with the quality of the rubber legs/posts, or the fact that the head of the bolt slightly protruded from the rubber. Can you say scratch the crap out of your floor? I also don't think the vibration would be any too good either... Who makes legs with a bolt through the rubber, where the rubber doesn't even meet the floor? Ok, Jet I guess. I like JET, but man they dropped the ball here as far as I am concerned.

Anyhow, if anyone is interested, bought 4 new stainless steel polymount leveling mounts, with a nice type leg. I found them on the net - Conveyor & Caster in Cleveland Ohio. Part number was BSNYLA24.

A very good improvement over the old legs. They are a little long, but they could be cut off if you cared especially about that. Don't know for sure if they don't have some that are shorter either...

Anyway, FWIW. Larry
