Boxmakers SIN at Symposium *PIC*

Ed Moore in SW Virginia
>Since we are only three hours or less from Richmond, we will arrive on Thursday. I hope as many as possible can come to the Boxmakers SIN on Friday evening that Mike Stafford and I are arranging.

As a co-moderator I decided that I better have some boxes there for display. For the past few months my brother and I have been busting our fannies painting our late mother's home in Delaware, so it is good to get back on the lathe.

Here are five boxes I made recently. The tulipwood box on the left is 1 7/8"H x 1 3/8"D and the black & white ebony box is 2"H x 1 7/8"D. I had some small pieces that I have been itching to turn. The bubinga box is 3 1/4"H x 1 3/8"D and the pyinma (Asian satinwood) in the back is 3 3/8"H x 1 7/8"D. The pyinma has a lot of chatoyance on the side, while it looks like elm on the endgrain.

See you at the Boxmakers SIN!
