>Yes, club members want to see a demo of some sort at just about every meeting. However, our club has a once a year auction to benefit the club. Members donate anything relating to woodworking. Wood, tools or whatever. We had ours earlier this month. After the auction a short demo of some sort is done. This time I did a short presentation on tool sharpening.

During the summer months our attendance drops quite a bit. People head for cooler climes. We bring in several mini lathes and have a hands on turning session, with the more experienced members helping the those that are less experienced. Seems to work well.
