I don't have guineas (they will eat the honeybees at the hives) but I do have some chickens which roam freely and they are almost as good. (And chickens don't eat bees.) I have not seen a tick here in the last three years unless I'm off where the chickens don't go.

I haven't used it, but the product in the link claims to drive away ticks (and mosquitoes) with natural ingredients and no poisons.
