Lathe Lighting.... ()

>Your question is very timely Wally, I have been fighting for a year trying to find the “perfect” lighting system for my Oneway, the Moffatt light does not clamp to the round headstock. I tried a box with a metal plate but found that got in the way of tool/body control so I took it off. I too will try to use some of these ideas to finally get it right. One thing I did want to try was to hang a shelf from the 11’ ceiling with a steel plate on the bottom for magnetized bases and several electrical outlets. This could possibly be used as a base for the vacuum duct work also so it can be overhead and not clutter the floor or work space around the lathe. Good luck organizing around your new lathe!
