Seriously, I have a 16" bar on my chainsaw because often I am forced to hold the saw at unusual angles in the sawmill. An 18" bar was too unbalance for me. It has been very rare for me to have a log that is so large I am unable to saw through it and I have had some really big ones. Keep the 16" bar.
