I turn the tool so the tip is angled to about 8:00am and start shaving very lightly with the top edge of the tool across the nub, right to left, down to up, repeat. Just barely take a hair of shaving though or you will just get thrown off the nub and can dp nasty things to the neck of the vessel. DAMHIKT. And don't get that tip on the nub. The other option if the opening is big enough, is a round nose scraper. Just my two cents which t'aint worth much. Would like to see some of your work. You haven't posted any in a long time.
