I have a Robust 25 and have been turning on it since early fall. Like you I
had a tough decision. I was between the Vicmarc and Stubby. I hadn't heard
of Robust. After seeing the add in the back of the AAW magazine, I contacted
Brent English at Robust and from the first moment I was impressed with the
personal service he offered. The entire lathe is made in Wi. and the warrenty
is iron clad for 7 years. Several times since my purchase Brent has contacted
me by email asking if I had concerns. The machine is an animal and will do
anything I've asked and then some. The tilt away tail is worth the investment
and that's a fact. The moveable head stock, adjustable legs, stainless steal
ways and the many other standard features make this lathe an excellent purchase.
