Another Kerosene Use

Kerosene ()

>I inherited my father in law's workshop. Sometime in the early 50's he put some screws, nut and washers as well as a jacobs chuck into glass jars with a little kerosene (range oil) in the bottom. These items are as good, or better, than new. Not a hint of rust and as shiny as the day they were made. So, if you need to keep some washers for 50 years, put them in a glass jar with a litle kerosene :-)
