>Glad it helped Mike; it is really easy to sharpen with or without the jig once you know what you are after. Don't give up on the jig though because it will keep your chain sawing straight. The jig goes in the middle of the link between the teeth and has to used with the high side turned forward or back as necessary to get the file low enough in the tooth. Whichever way it works is the way you must always use it. I think with mine I use the high side to the rear of the saw but I would have to look to be certain. I am not certain if the jig will work with anti-kickback chain so ask your dealer.
