Part of my problem was I had some pine blocks give out on me so I've been using hard maple which is hard to part off.
I'm considering making a vacuum chuck. I haven't used one but it seems very convenient for this type of application. I also don't have a good quality chuck yet. I currently using an old Grizzly 3 jaw chuck. I'm planning on getting a Oneway Talon soon.
Let's see. Add on the Wolverine or Sorby grinding jig to that I'm looking at. I better sell some bottlestoppers or something.
