I didn't follow the strategy of your instructions.
As I read your instructions, you made a two-piece laminated board (long and narrow), placed it on edge, cross cut it into short parallelograms with two faces at 25 degree angle. Here is where I got confused: You cut the points off of the parallogram to make rectangles. Is it the points that you want or the resultant rectangle? What I have visualized leaves a sizable gap or simply a straight (but shorter) board just as you started. I know I have my brain in backwards so please help!
