Subject:
Cherry Plate *PIC*

Barbara Gill
>Before Christmas I was given some boards from a Cherry tree that had spent quite a bit of time floating in the Rappahannock River. The color of the wood looked different from what I was used to so I asked about salt water soaked cherry on the other message board. So far I have turned two small plated from this wood. One was given to the people who gave me the wood. The other I buffed today. This plate is 8 1/8" in diameter and is about 7/8" high. It has been finished with Velvit Oil and buffed with the Beall System.
