...is what I call the #1 "back shoulder" tool. I think Mike renamed it at least once, but I still use the original name. It is one of a set of three designed by Mark St. Leger. He uses it for making small voids in his oddly shaped boxes. I use it in the hard-to-reach shoulder area right inside the small holes of hollow forms. Your mentioning it for use inside a more traditional box is a great idea and something I'm going to have to try. You are correct that it has a bit of a learning curve. I've found that it's best to use it in the pull mode. The push mode tends to make scary sounds. ...GG
