With this boom which is on a rolling platform you can put the camera where ever it needs to be to get the best photo. You can stand off to the end, Go over head, go out front. Heck you can even look over their left or right shoulder when hollowing bowls or vessels.
The only real downside so far is that it requires a remote zoom and the camera operater must be able to see the large monitor to position and zoom the camera. That's wasn't a problem at all. When Mike and I get it done we'll do a lot of testing to see if anything needs changing. He's coming over today to look at what I modified. I have a couple of minor changes to make and then will take it down to the TAW meeting a week from Tuesday to try it out and see what else needs to be changed.
