Bill I definitely think your correct about the wood quality. I'm going to buy some good air Dried wood from a friend if he has what I need. That and possible cutting oversize and letting it sit for a few days before final cutting will probably solve the problem. At least for accurate fitting. I think my new clamp will solve the glue up problem.
