You likely had a thunderstorm pass through. I am east of you and have several last evening and one this morning.

It is possible that during a thunderstorm the line voltage was temporarily higher due to some lightning strike.

I recall a thread like this on another lathe, may have been Powermatic. In this other thread the solution was to unplug for an extended period, such as 20 - 30 minutes in order to reset the board. Likely needed to drain some capacitor down.

Worth a try since you cannot call General until tomorrow.
