Everyone who sells, should read Charlie's post

Greg Haugen
Charlie, you hit the nail on the head. I've been thinking and saying that for years.

For the past few years, it never fails, I go to a show and there's an exhibitor there that shouldn't be. They tired, they've done it for a long time, and they're burned out. They can't muster a smile if they had to. I'm very energetic and responsive with people and ENJOY what I do. Every show, the "grumpy/burned out" exhibitor barely sells anything and those who are having FUN (myself included) usually had an outstanding show. If you can't get excited about your work, no one else will. There's so much more than just the "creativity" at the lathe, and it's everything else that often gets forgotten about.
