Value added woodworking..... *PIC*

Mike Stafford
I have been working under the delusion that we woodturners could increase the value of a piece of wood by turning, sanding, polishing, carving, burning and otherwise altering its appearance to make it more attractive.

Apparently I am wrong. As this picture clearly shows all that one needs to do is cut the ends of a log squarely, sand the ends nice and smooth and call it a piece of furniture to make money at woodworking. I know this will come as a shock to the lathe manufacturers, tool sales companies and finishing suppliers.

Sheesh......
