Tompkins V skewResponse To:
The skew task tools are a fine line () Doc Green
After doing considerable experimenting with ordinary skews, the Sorby spindlemaster, and the Tompkins V skew, I've concluded that the V skew represents a significant step forward in a tool that will leave a skew-like surface and still be easy to control.
The V skew is similar to the spindlemaster but has a tip that comes to more of a point as opposed to being round. It is little if any more difficult to use than a spindle gouge.
Maybe Keith will post a picture.
