I just sign and put the town I live in and the year I made it,I make things other than my turnings and if I forget to sign a piece the customer has always ask me to sign it.I have work that I made two or three years ago sell,that eventually sells.I don't think the date means a lot ,because if someone likes the piece I don't think the date on the piece will stop them from buying it.
