The first movie I ever saw was "Wings". It was 1927 and I was 6 years old. Some shot-down pilots floated to earth on their parachutes. That looked like fun so I made a parachute out of a tablecloth and some heavy twine. I was certain that I would softly float to the ground when I jumped out of the barn loft.... I didn't...I had a very hard landing but no broken bones.
